Each piece from this series was designed to be viewed in a large format, creating impact from afar, while remaining detailed and interesting to look at up close. My inspirations for this series include Pokémon, Demonology, Lisa Frank, and Japanese Anime. I experimented with using soft pastel and bright colors in an attempt to impose warm feelings, while the imagery itself might be of a more questionable nature. A bit of dubious nostalgia. Created using Adobe Illustrator, all art by Frank Spencer.
